Classes

Interested in starting up a class? We customize the class to the organization and the students. Read below to learn more about classes for preschoolers; classes for multi-cultural organizations; and classes we are currently offering through community ed. Find out how we conduct our English as a Second Language classes.  We will travel to your location for $45.00 an hour.

Classes for Preschoolers

Language Complete teaches Spanish, French, German, Italian and English as a Second Language to children from infancy to age twelve through traveling and various modalities of learning at your location.

We operate on the premise backed by research that the best “window of opportunity” for second language learning is from 0-3 years old. Additional impressionable second language learning ages are 2-7 and 10-13. We teach the whole child in age appropriate ways:

• oral conversation between children in the language
• flash cards and repetition
• puppetry
• flannel boarding
• crafting by language theme
• singing and dancing to music
• culture, including celebrating holidays and traditions
• story telling
• giving commands in the target language

Classes in multi-cultural companies

We can help your employees communicate better with their colleagues around the world, or prepare them for travel to company sites in other countries. We can combine classes with translation services.  We have offered classes at:

Classes in community education

Melanie Hendrick has been hired by The Rochester School District to teach in the Adult Enrichment Program in January 2012.

English as a Second Language

We use a variety of methods when teaching groups how to improve their English skills. We combine practice in listening, speaking, conversation, and writing. ESL Conversational Class coming in October, 2011, two times per month, every other week, week night to be determined.
